“THEY TRUST ME - DUMB FU_ _ S!”

Mark Zuckerberg admitted to having once called the users of his site, Facebook, now a multi-billion dollar corporation, “Dumb fucks!”.
The quote was asked about in a 2012 New Yorker story done on Mark Zuckerberg months before Facebook would go public and then at the ripe old age of 26, he wouldn’t walk back what he had said, but did admit, “I think I’ve grown and learned a lot since those days”.
Hello fellow Steemit users! Or hello to the outsider I am trying to lure in by posting the link to this article elsewhere.
WHY would you ever again post on Facebook? A site that collects information about you and sells it off to the highest bidder, while you are paid nothing for your time or even your interaction with other Facebook users - both of which are indicators to ad sellers as to where to place their money. Facebook shares none of this revenue with you unless you are a shareholder, but even then, you’ll only share in the profits if you can afford its $150.00 per share price.
What if I could introduce you to a community that not only prized your contributions, but in fact, paid you for them? What if even your likes (or Upvotes) on other members posts could earn you additional cash? And what if sharing that same post on other social media platforms started building you a healthy, residual income that will continue to flow the rest of your days? Would that be enough to lure you away from the guy who thinks you are a ‘Dumb fuck” anyway?
If you kept using his site anyway, wouldn’t that actually prove he was right? No! No! no! Please! As Susan Powter once told a generation of women, “Stop the Insanity!!!”
The Zuck stole you from Tom (remember that MYSpace guy) with simply, a more interactive site that was easier to find your friends on. But let’s not also forget a Twitter conversation had with an Instagram insider. A point he was far to proud to comment on in 2013 when he Tweeted "Instagram’s terms of service change”... (and I add, allowing them to profit off your posts and leaving you without privacy) ...“is ridiculous. . . Get real folks!!!”. To which an Instagram insider commented, “So says the guy who was not able to keep a social network alive”. To which Tom replied “So says the guy who sold MySpace for $580 million in 2005 and can now enjoy permanent retirement while you slave away for half a day off”
Well Tom is right and for the average American who now spends up to 35 hours a week interacting with Social Media - ISN’T IT TIME YOU GET PAID FOR IT!!! Isn't it time you can take maybe a half day off with money earned doing something you are doing already?
That is the promise of Steem. Simply use it and you’ll see and because Steem is part of the block-chain, not only will your Steem accumulate, it could very well appreciate. Bitcoin now sits at over $1,600 value per single Bitcoin and for those of you that don’t yet even understand yet what a Bitcoin is - You REALLY need to get off of Facebook!!! A single one dollar investment in Bitcoin in 2009 could have yielded you 1,300 Bitcoin (BTC). Today, those 1,300 Bitcoin, not ten years later are worth over $2 MILLION DOLLARS. Not the stock market, the bond market, the foreign exchange market, let alone precious metals could begin to compete with BTC. And now there are various Cryptocurrencies, but only Steemit pays you to post like you have always posted at Facebook, or Reddit, or Instagram, or even YouTube… And without predisposition for your political views!
In January this year, Facebook, Twitter, Google and Microsoft announced plans to censor your speech and has since stopped paying millions to right wing vloggers on YouTube and these same networks can actually ban you for using your free speech rights, for the most minor of infractions, including simply asserting your right to free speech.
They call it “offensive content”, but truth be known, Muslim extremists can still post hateful Western speech, violence is not generally filtered even when extreme and the only thing being censored seems largely to be right wing views. Well, left or right, this should send a chilling effect up your spine as this final point of the “mainstream” social media circus seems to have gone outright Fascist.
So again, I take you back to the Mark Zuckerberg statement calling his users “dumb fucks”. Isn’t he right? Shouldn’t you get off of Facebook at your earliest convenience and start getting paid to post at Steemit!?!?!
I also remind you what Tom Anderson said, you remember, MySpace Tom. . . He’s spending his $580 million, while you are struggling to take off half a day! Stop struggling and enjoy the REAL opportunity to get some return on the part-time job you didn’t even realize you signed up for before reading the article: Social Media!
Why would you give that effort away when you fight hard for everything else in your life… Again, 35 HOURS PER WEEK (according to Fortune Magazine) is the time you spend on Social Media.
