The Purple Eagle

The Purple Eagle desperately needed a big sponge that they would hug. One might consider this to be an exciting suggestion, to some, but not to the Eagle, who assumed it was miraculous. Who would have thought, a big sponge being the thing selected.

The Purple Eagle always had with them a bag of flour to sit and look at. It should have been a fairly unusual idea, to me and my children, but not to the Eagle, who had decided that the idea was stunning. Who would have thought, a bag of flour was the chosen item.

The Purple Eagle always kept a crown that they would sit and look at. It is a fairly extraordinary thought, to my grandma, but not to the Eagle, who had come to the conclusion it would be entertaining. You wouldnt have thought, a crown is the thing that was chosen.
