Colonial kitchens and modern kitchens have many similarities and differences. Both colonial and modern kitchens have stoves; however, the colonists used a fireplace to cook their food. Most modern kitchens today have electric stoves. Not only that, both colonial and modern kitchens have butter; however, the colonists used a churn to make their butter. Most modern kitchens today have store-bought butter. Also, they both use soap; however, the colonists made their own soap from the collected ashes from the fireplace. Most modern kitchens today have store-bought soap. In conclusion, the stove, the butter, and the soap have their similarities and differences.
