RETRO LIGHTING!!!!!

Hi everyone @banjocat is going to date himself, but I remember when pole lamps were in everyone's home............ If you didn't have a pole lamp you were so missing out!
These are coming back as retro home decor, but I am not jumping on this bandwagon!
The original pole lamps also came in models that were spring loaded and they could be put up anywhere that had a eight foot ceiling.
Some of these had multi colored plastic light shades......
I think @banjocat will stick to recessed lighting!!!
What do you guys think?????
