Assuming the round earth model, what I witnessed last night was the shadow of the earth passing across the face of the moon.

I'm glad we agree on this one! 😂

It really sounds like a beautiful experience, especially with Luna afterwards. Is the name a coincidence?

I guess you know my character now! Where there is a conspiracy I am right there ready to sniff it out. The flat earth model doesn't have much explanation (as far as I can see) for the way in which the sun can create a shadow of the earth on the moon. So, in this situation the globe earth model does seem more likely ;)

We live on the Spanish/French boarder so decided to give the kids Spanish names, Esteban & Luna. I can't really say we named her after the moon but I can say she is affected by its cycles.
