Why It Matters
Believing we are on "terminal leave" can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it can lead to a scary kind of apathy where we just stop trying altogether. On the other hand, it can actually take the pressure off. If the "perfect win" (saving everything exactly as it was) feels impossible, maybe we can focus on the "small wins"—simply being better humans while we're still here.
