As if they hadn’t destroyed Mainstreet America enough with shutdowns, rack rents, higher taxes, more burdensome occupational and business licensing requirements, and legalized looting they’ve now decided to ban gas powered lawn equipment (and generators) under the pretense of climate change. There is no doubt that the requirement to buy more expensive battery powered lawn equipment and all of the charging stations need to run them will put some lawncare businesses out of business and keep others from even materializing. If their goal is concentrating more wealth into the hands of a select few mega corporations and their shareholders it sure is working as intended. For all their posturing on wealth and income inequality they sure do like to create policies that make it worse.
