I don't think there is really anything special about it. It's just STEEM's version of Youtube. You're video content would be voted on, and earn STEEM. People that are looking for video content on this platform would find it easier. Your content rocks! You should really consider it. I second the motion, it's great to see you here! I always look forward to your posts. I think your video content would do better posted to d.tube which would still end up in your Steemit feed.
