RE: How To Feel Alive: Feel a Rainbow

in #ecotrain8 years ago

I did feel rainbow of emotions yesterday; it's already 3:30am Thursday morning here. 😂

I attach a lot to how I am received and when I do something that gets poor reception, I feel pretty bad. I am naïve and dependent that way. I know it is wrong to depend on people's adulation in deciding whether you are happy or sad but that's just me and I am working on that.

Well I started chatting up an old friend. We spoke well on Tuesday probably because she was bored and alone but yesterday she neither replied my chats despite being online or picked my call.

I also made a financial promise to someone that i can't keep as financial obligations have come that I didn't expect.

In the good feelings part, I finally wrote a good poem I will submitting for a poetry competition off steemit. It's good, I hope. 😂

And finally steem is finally looking up. 😂

I think those were some of the emotions that made up my rainbow.

You should keep up with the videos. As long as a thing is serving a purpose to the community and also building you, then it is a good thing to be involved in.

Thank you for this post, stay safe. Peace

I do the same if I'm honest @warpedpoetic, I get upset if people say something and I let it fester in my head. Sometimes these days I am strong enough to say 'no' in my head to feeling a certain way, so getting there (far from perfect though)

A tough week for you though. Good luck in the poetry competition. I love how writing poetry can lift your mood.

I'm easily finding subjects to talk about for just 3 minutes, it is quite a surprise. Today's will be "The Call of the Wild".
