Mothers play key role to send her children at @SchoolForSDG4

in #education7 years ago

In slums, mothers play vital role for child education. As city slums have multi cultures, mother decides how her children will grow up. They mostly decide whether her children needs to go school or work. It does not mean the father have no role. They work hard outside to feed their family and pay fees for school and other expenses.

Father go out in the morning and return in evening. Some mothers lost their beloved husband and they now work for their children education and other feed them. So, education became a optional program in life when their children can work and there is a need for food and housing. The sacrifice of the widows mother is worse.

Junayed's mother is one of the example who wants to keep continue Junayed's education. She is self-motivated and very positive about her Junayed's future. If she can't go work in a day, Junayed and her mother find difficulties to eat. So, sometimes the mothers compelled to send her children at work. In addition to this, it is general trends that male children from slums go for work after primary education.

Our monthly mother's meeting allow us to let them aware about importance of child education and their current circumstance should not remain same level in future. I am not a big person but I am big hope for these 50 families. It is strange that I have less communication with the children's fathers as they mostly return home at night and go to work in early morning. I know most of mothers and the trust I am going to support them long run.

Of course mothers are the best.

My another project is focus on these women and soon I am going to write about the @womenEmpowerment project from it's separate account. It will work like facebook page or promotional account which will promote products, our work and supporters post.

Please follow @WomenEmpowerment to support us.

Looking forward to you getting @womenempowerment up and running!

Thank you for generous donation to @SchoolForSDG4 and I can't wait to say thanks for your wonderful support. @WomenEmpowerment project is already running since 7 January 2017 . I did share many posts about the activities also sold some products on steemit and sold the products to USA .

Say for example this post https://steemit.com/women/@azizbd/my-friday-with-women-empowerment-17-november-2017

I did share so many updates from my personal steemit blog for last couple of months and on facebook for around a year .As I would like to fund raise for the project separately so I can identify and invest in the social business, so I created the account and planning to start blogging too.

please ask me for any information. I also shared our overall report of our income and expenses from steemit. Hope you will find more information when you have convenience time to read.

Your welcome. Life has been very generous to me this past year.

Thanks for the information on the woman's empowerment project. Later today I will dig into more. Sounds like you are busy. I am working less but sticking with the non-profit Independent Living Center (working with people who are disabled and/or disadvantaged). I work with the youth and young adults transitioning into adulthood. Much of the hours I put in are volunteering. I forget to put the hours on my time-sheet. I put some of my own cryptocurrency into an account at Bitconnect.co reinvesting gains for awhile, but now it is generating funds for them.

I will especially dig into your FaceBook page...I would be interested to see what you have been able to sell...

What outlets are you using to sell products?

Here, Thanks for your following the fb page. I would probably think to do something to sell professionally. I have no outlets but I did share by blogging on steemit and people instantly agreed to buy and chatted with me. I wanted to sell by fb page but it needs huge time from myself. So I am planning to contract with shops outside Bangladesh. who will be agreed to buy from us. As all depends on my personal effort, so sometimes I can't do what I should do.
@girlbeforemirror who is from Australia and also love to make handicraft products. She also helping me now and also she connected me with a shop in Australia so I can contact them and sell products we make. Also I sold two order to @tecnosgirl and @kenny-crane

Here is @tecnosgirl post

Any suggestion is welcome.

I will keep you in mind as I ponder outlets to sell products

Mothers truly have a major role to play in educating their children. Thank you @azizbd for encouraging and helping the women

Thank you for your comment and also I believe that empowering them will help our country economy largely. This will help us to achieve sustainable development goal 5 which is gender equality and women empowerment.

Yes it will...
