Competitive exams to be held twice a year.......

Union Education minister Prakash Javadekar, on July 7, stated that competitive examinations like National Eligibility-Cum-Enterance Test(NEET), National Eligibility Test(UGC-NET), Joint Enterance Exam(JEE) Main, and Common Management Admission Test(CMAT) will be conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) twice a year.

He has launched the NTA at the press conference at Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi and said that the nature of examination will be same. Onlu the mode of examinations will be computer based.

Javadekar ha already announced the working of the NTA and the examinations will be held according to these new guidelines from this year. The UCG-NET will be the first examination that will be conducted in coming December by the NTA. He also stated that both NEET and JEE mains will be held two times a year.
