LIBRARY IS YOUR HOME | A FINALIST’S REFLECTION 🎓

Sometimes, growth comes quietly.

Lately, the library has become more than just a place to read for me. It has become a home,a place of reflection, discovery, preparation, and growth.

Looking back, I can hardly believe how far I have come.

From my 100L days to the first semester of 400L, I can literally count the number of times I visited the library. I was never really a library person, neither was I the type who would stay overnight studying (TDB). 😅

For most of my undergraduate journey, I did my reading from home. I never really understood the value of spending long hours in the library.

But then came my final semester on campus.

Something changed.

As the reality of graduation began to sink in, I found myself visiting the library almost every day. I wanted to read more, learn more, prepare better, and give myself the best possible chance of finishing this journey well.

And somehow, FULAFIA Library became my second home. 📖❤️

I discovered resources and opportunities I wish I had known about much earlier. I had access to computers and free internet connectivity, and most importantly, I discovered a new version of myself;the version that could sit for hours, read, research, learn, and keep pushing even when tired.

The library taught me something beyond academics:

Time invested in yourself is never wasted.

Every hour spent reading, every page turned, every difficult topic understood, and every moment of preparation is an investment in the person you are becoming.

Today, as I stand at the closing chapter of my undergraduate journey, I look back with gratitude.

There were difficult days. There were moments I questioned myself. There were times the journey felt too long and too demanding. But somehow, I kept going.

And now, here I am.

A FINALIST. 🎓

The same student who once hardly visited the library is now counting down to the end of an academic journey.

What a journey it has been.

To every student reading this: don't wait until your final semester before you discover the library. Make it your home. Make learning a lifestyle. Read beyond your lectures. Ask questions. Explore. Prepare yourself for the future.

Because education is not only about passing examinations; it is about becoming a better version of yourself.

And to myself, as I prepare to close this chapter:

I congratulate you for coming this far.

May the sacrifices, sleepless nights, struggles, prayers, and countless hours of preparation finally translate into excellent results.

May I finish strong.

May the final chapter be beautiful.

The journey is almost over, but the best is yet to come. 🎓❤️
