Like two days ago I went to the gym AND THERE WHERE NO POKEMON THERE, I REPEAT! NO POKEMON AT THE GYM!!! And after my obvious first disappointing impression I decided to do what everyone was doing and hit the weights, it was weird I left exhausted but in a good mood _{I have to get used to that} but today is a different story, MY MUSCLES BURRRRRNNNN and are sore AF and I heard is because of this guy named Dom! YOU WILL PAY DOM!!!

This is a bit embarrassing, it wasn't the work of any Dom, it was the DOMS and it stands for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness, that's the name of the pain you feel after you have an unusually intense workout, _{you're safe from my wrath Doms of the worlds it was just a mistake} and this pain you feel is no gain my friend it is the pain you feel when your muscles are affected by MICROTRAUMA

Ok, calm down, that totally normal, this MICROTRAUMA your muscles are suffering are tiny tears that are produced when you use your muscles more than you normally do, especially when they undergo what is called ECCENTRIC CONTRACTIONS that's a fancy name for when your muscles are kinda relaxing but still going through a bit of stress, like me when I go to bed but still have a ton of shit to do for the next day

I know those big words can be scary but are really necessary to get swole AF, after all doing exercise is the best way to make tiny tears on your muscles in a controlled way for those tears to be repaired and that way your muscles can get bigger and stronger, so next time you feel that annoying pain all over your body, you just have to say...
