THE MAGIC SQUARE

The magical square magic, its origin is very old, tells an ancient Chinese legend around the year 2,200 BC, the emperor Yu saw on the banks of the Yellow River a magic square engraved on the shell of a turtle called Lo-Shu attributing magical properties and religious.

The charm and fascination of these magic squares is that once you start to solve them and learn the techniques you are passionate and want more, in my case I started applying it together with my 8 year old daughter, I had the need to find something before starting the routine of the tasks or activities sent by the school, so after applying different games we worked the magic square, we solve it before starting the tasks, and I have noticed that it helps us to concentrate.

So I commented to my daughter's teacher at the time and each child developed his own board to develop the magic square, the activity became dynamic and competitive inside the room and teachers and representatives joined this game, our satisfaction was that the application of this juice multiplied not only in the school but also in different homes.

Magical square of 3 X 3

It consists of making a grid of 3 rows by 3 columns, the number of tables is counted or multiplied 3 X 3 = 9, is the numbering to be used from number 1 to 9 consecutively (1,2,3,4,5,6 , 7,8,9), and add 45 as a result, then to the result (45) we divide it into the number of rows or columns (3), then it would be 45/3, and its result 15, this corresponds to our magical result.

This magic square in particular has 8 solutions, in this article we will show you that following some rules, your solution becomes something technical and fun for the participants.

Rules:

  1. The number 1 will always go in the first row in the middle column.

  2. Continue with the numerical order, starting from the position of the number one position rises and one position moves to the right.

  3. If the position falls outside the grid, the number moves to the end of the column or row depends on where it is located.

  4. If the box where the position corresponds is occupied, a position directly below the guide number passes directly.

  5. If it falls in a position outside the square where it has neither a row nor a column as a guide, the number passes directly one position below the guide number.

Solution of the magic square of 3 X 3

  1. The number 1 always goes in the first row the center column.

  2. Number 2 moves up one position and moves one position to the right.

  3. To locate the number 3, we climb a position starting from number 2 and we move one position to the right, it is outside the square, but it has the second row as a guide, moving according to the norm at the end of the row.

  4. With the number 4 we take the 3 as a base we go up one position and to the right a position, but it is busy with the number 1, so we follow the rule 4, which says: if it is occupied the corresponding quadrant passes directly to the lower position of the base number, in this case 3.

  5. For the number 5, starting from the base number 4, one position above and one position to the right.

  6. We are equal to the number 6, starting from the base number 5, one position above and one position to the right.

  7. To locate 7, a position is raised and a position is moved to the right, in addition to falling out of the square the number was left without a row or column guide, so in compliance with rule 5, the number is directly located one position below 6.

  8. Go up one position and one position to the right, it is outside the square, but it has the first row as guide, moving according to the norm at the end of the row.

  9. Go up one position and one position to the right, stay out of the square, but follow the second column, following rule 3, move to the end of the second column.

  10. We came to the funniest "VERIFY THE SUMMIT", it is the cherry on the cake, the part where children feel their reward, and we as parents too, add each row, column and diagonal numbers.

We hope you have enjoyed the development of this wonderful game, later we will continue with magic squares of greater rows and columns, this game has helped us in addition to the concentration to spend quality time with our daughters, it is part of our moments of quality and approaches, together We develop different ways to make it more fun, as we advance we do competitions, so it also helps us to grow our mental and motor agility.

As entrepreneurs we look for sponsors to continue developing diverse games, we elaborate and market all the games that we are publishing, the games are developed with our daughters and we practice it as a pilot plan in the school where they study. We detail and take into account the observations of the users (children).
