Can't believe no one has thrown in a comment here.
And yes, i do believe cryptocurrencies can be the savior these people need. I'm not a fond of banking in it's current state but some sort of lending mechanism is needed for a society to prosper.
Everyone should stand on equal ground and share the same opportunities.
