The discussion around education is very broad. It is admitted that education is a process (and result of a process) of change and development, through which an individual acquires by himself or helped by others, ways and ways of being, acting, living and thinking. These forms vary according to the means and ends, ideals or individual or social projects proposed by people in different times and societies.

Education is a process of transformation of the individual continuously from birth to death, and occurs in a planned or incidental way, in any place and under any circumstance. However, there is a belief that education occurs in the individual during the school stage, in which he learns everything he needs throughout his life. Regarding Perkyn, cited by Marcano (2010: 3) states ... "in this era where living conditions are complex and life changes are rapid, the need for a continuous education system with a permanent sense is felt".

The educational process involves different forms of interaction: teacher-student, student-student, student-object of study. Traditional education has placed more emphasis on teacher-student interaction; however, recent research has given more importance to student - student relations within a constructivist approach. "Sufficient empirical data have been reported that show how relationships between equals favor the construction of knowledge" (Cole, cited by Marcano 2010: 3). </ p> </ div>

The new paradigm suggests changing the communication structure of the class, abandoning the traditional relationship between teacher and student to establish a network of interactions, a network of relationships between students. </p

In the same order of ideas, Cechini and Tomecci cited by Marcano (2010: 4), suggest that you can improve the performance of all students by changing the teaching method, being the most appropriate one that is based on the construction of knowledge (in the pretory sense) in the intrinsic motivation with respect to school work and in the intensification of communication and interactions among students. A methodology with such characteristics leads to a transformation of the teacher-student relationship.
