Studio Update: “Just for Tuesday”

Tonight’s session was all about vocals.

“Just for Tuesday” started as one of those songs that felt slightly tongue-in-cheek, sarcastic, observational, a little sharp around the edges.

Once Ashton stepped into the booth, the tone shifted. Suddenly it had weight. The phrasing changed. The intensity built.

It’s always interesting how vocals can completely reframe a track. What sounds simple instrumentally can become emotionally charged once the right performance lands.
