So it looks like some people in the USA are trying to turn us into Australia, particularly US Attorney General William Barr.
The other day I read an article that I thought was for sure ripped straight out of The Onion, but lo and behold, it was now. It was real life actual news . . .

Just read the article. You will probably immediately puke in your own lap or onto your keyboard if you care about privacy in the least bit. This guy practically wants a key to your brain that he can use in a warrantless situation, but big corporations and governmental employees are exempt from it.
Seriously, read the article. This guy has got to go and so does this mode of thinking in government.

Agreed, he is a total piece of shit. Let him show us his texts, emails and calls but I forgot, everyone except the military and goverment must have their info offered on a plate to them but not them.

For sure, fully agreed man. Australia is setting a VEEERY bad example with their encryption laws and expectations. If the USA starts acting like that, that's a very bad sign for the world. It's impossible to enforce, but just the idea itself is messed up, it's disgusting, we aren't cattle.
So who would you rather want been in the government, when they are basically all the same.
Yeah, they're mainly all crooks and corrupt dirty players. I'd rather have almost anyone else as long as they respect an individuals god-given rights. Encroachment into an individual's personal life is inexcusable. We have a right to privacy, on all levels.
TBH, I think there are lots of people like him in the government. Politicians cannot be trusted.
