I'm a bit confused by the figures here @steemcommunity. I was expecting a negative growth since I've delegated some SP since last week.
Delegated SP will be excluded, both in and out. We will be working from owned SP values only.
My owned SP according to steemworld is 1,956.19 SP.
However, if you look at my wallet it's closer to the figure you've quoted.
So it looks like these calculations are still counting SP that has been delegated out.
the owned sp as per steemworld is what I call controlling SP. this is the SP you are in control of. so it is your owned SP less delegated out SP plus delegated in SP.
we are measuring actual owned SP. Any delegations are excluded.
Sorry @paulag I still don't understand what you're saying here but I don't suppose it matters anyway.
I'm not planning on doing anything to manage the figures. My SP will simply be whatever I can scrape up each week. 😊
Hi @gillianpearce what she is trying to say, it that they only use the SP you own yourself. So they don't take SP delegated in or out into calculation.
Steemworld does this.
Suppose that you have 100 own SP, but do have a delegation of 50 SP incoming and an out going delegation of 25 SP. Steemworld would say 125. (100+50-25).
But if you take a look at he wallet on busy or steem, you will see 100SP (+25). This 100 SP (yours) is taken into account.

I have two delegations going out so basically, it sounds like you are saying @fullcoverbetting, those are ignored in the sense that they are not deducted from the total, because I own them.
So far so good but the original post says "Delegated SP will be excluded, both in and out".
How can an outward delegation be anything other than owned by me and, therefore, in what circumstances would it be excluded?
The SP you did delegate out isn’t excluded from the calculationbut the delegation is.
The ranking is based how much SP you would have with any in or outgoing delegation!

The SP you have according to the wallet of Busy or steem interface is used for the ranking. The SP calculate by steemworld is the one you are using when curating. For you this is 1956.25. This is based on 2356 own SP and 400.67 SP delegated out.
The 2356 own SP, is also shown in the wallet via busy or steem.
What I did mean to say it that the delegation is ignored. Both incoming and outgoing.
