Greetings my dear friends of steemit today I want to share with you a new recipe of some very rich sticks I speak of the well-known guayaba cakes, these cakes are very typical in my country and although I have not tried them if I have a sister every time you prepare them they are delicious, here I leave you their preparation and the ingredients they will need.

Ingredients:
• 3 slices of puff pastry
• 300 ML of water
• 4 Guava sweet bars
• _ Powdered sugar_
• One egg yolk previously whipped
• Hugo lemon

preparation:
We must start by placing a pot with water on the fire, then you must cut into pieces the guava candy and then add them to the warm water, you must also add a little lemon juice, you must start stirring little by little so that it melts the guava leaves and forms a very dense mixture as if it were marmalade.

Then stretch the pastry dough, sprinkling it previously with a little flour when you have done that extends the other puff pastry on it.

To start making the cakes, you can use a short pastry and go forming squares in the dough of the size you want, then go placing the guava mixture lifting each sheet of the dough and recapping it.

Take the egg yolk previously beaten and spread it over the dough, after that you do that, introduce the baked cakes for about 10-15 minutes at 180 ° C.

When you remove them from the oven, sprinkle them with sugar, and then you will get some delicious sticks to share with your family or friends.
