First Christmas sweet
oday I want to share a recipe for a very sweet sweet from Venezuela, which is the Golfeado.
Ingredients
500g of Wheat Flour
300ml of Tibia Milk
Hard cheese
1 Panela de Papelon
10g of Washing
2 Tablespoons butter
20g of Sugar
Sweet anise (the one that gives you that special flavor should not miss)
Preparation
Add to the warm milk the yeast and 10g of sugar to activate and let it rest,
in a bolus add the wheat flour together with the butter, a little sweet anise, we striped paper and add the rest of the sugar and mix, to join these ingredients add the already activated yeast and maza, remove the dough from the bowl and Place it on the table to knead it for an interval of 20 minutes, put it again in the bowl covered with a bag and a cloth and let it rest for an hour or until it doubles its size, in a basin with a little water we melt the half of the paper that will serve to varnish the golfeados at the time of putting them in the oven. After the hour we uncovered our dough and placed it on the work table, pressed it a little to get the air out of the fermentation, we stretched it in a rectangular shape, we added paper, striped cheese and sweet aniseed seeds on the rectangle, we took from the ends and we roll it to the end, then cut it as a finger measurement and place it on a previously greased tray, let it rest for half an hour, after the time we varnished the golfeados with the melted paper and take it to the oven pre-heated to a temperature of 180ºc for half an hour or until they brown, when removing them from the oven we re-varnish them and we will scratch a bit of cheese ..... and Buen Provecho
