Much must be learned from millenary cultures, especially if their knowledge is validated through time. One of the most important discoveries of pre-Columbian civilizations is the possibility of using corn as a staple food of the regular diet. Corn is a very complete food that contains mainly vitamins A, B and E, as well as countless minerals, which favor the metabolism in the body. Therefore it is beneficial to combat various diseases such as diabetes or hypertension problems.

  • Antioxidants
    It is known that corn is an important source of antioxidants that prevent the formation of free radicals and, therefore, of carcinogenic diseases.

  • Vitamins
    As it is a very complete food in vitamins, its consumption is vital for an adequate development of the nervous system at any stage of life.

  • Minerals
    Corn is rich in different minerals, such as: copper, iron, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus.

  • Proteins
    It is good to know that just by consuming a cup of corn we are already entering the body the amount of protein recommended daily.

  • Fiber
    So tasty product is also an important source of fiber.
