Entrepreneurs in Africa Are Impacting Lives by Overcoming Hardship

The biggest difficulty for entrepreneurs in Africa is access to funds, but entrepreneurs also struggle to learn from those who have already done it!

Failure as a Taboo

Because of this, starting a business in Africa is very risky. However, the biggest risk is that of failure (which I will highlight more in another post). Culturally, most Africans are terrified of starting something that will soon go belly up. So they don't, or they didn't.

Recent years, though, has seen many Africans starting businesses despite all the difficulties! And it's turning our beautiful continent into a modern eldorado for business magnates around the world.

In fact, latest figures show that 3 out of the 5 fastest growing economies in the world are African countries!

So why the sudden momentum?

Someone once said out of necessity comes creativity! I think that is propelling Africa forward at unprecedented speeds!

@debunked, that is very well put. African entrepreneurs are opportunists and have realized that creating their own job opportunities is their best shot at creating value in their communities.

Thanks, @macritique. The thing to understand about Africa is that so many entrepreneurs don't call themselves entrepreneneurs and rarely seek to grow their timy businesses beyond themselves or immediate family

Nice post man !
