Emanate is being launched by the Australian-based Blockchain Music Pty Ltd team, focused on developing what they call simply ‘technology for the future of music’. The Emanate demo (https://demo.emanate.live) shows what the EOSIO software is capable of, and hints at the evolutionary step Emanate will cause when it launches in Q2 this year. Reducing music royalty payments from months down to seconds is nothing short of revolutionary for the music industry. This is one blockchain use case that is often talked about, but has not been properly demonstrated… until now.

During the course of 2018’s market downturn the team have built a formidable brand, have raised enough funding to build their alpha platform, secured a platform partnership with 500,000 artists, have been accepted into an incubation program in the United States and are now onboarding dozens of top-shelf electronic artists and labels to furnish their Alpha platform with.

Young Futura — coming to Emanate

Emanate will close its platform pre-sale on the 30th of April. Until then, the EMT dashboard (https://dashboard.emanate.live) allows EOS to be swapped immediately for the EMT tokens which will be used on the platform.

Here’s what you need to know about the coming launch

Emanate is for the Future of Music. A decentralised network for artists, labels and music lovers with real-time payments and a trustless collaboration framework. The Emanate demo is already live at https://demo.emanate.live and the Alpha platform is in the works.

Building on EOSIO as their platform of choice since early 2018 was a bold choice at the time, but the technical capability of the software has proven itself, and the community growing around EOS is strong and supportive. Block. One chose to highlight Emanate in their #builtoneosio series, and went on to invite the Emanate team to Blockchain Live in London, to help exhibit the capabilities of the platform on the Block One Village.

Partnering with Vampr.me in March 2018, Emanate signed a deal to share an audience and build a community with Vampr.me — a social network for musicians that has over 500,000 members. Emanate and Vampr will be become closely integrated over time and those users who have met on Vampr and made music together will be able to easily monetise their creations on Emanate.

Launching Alpha

Emanate are in the token distribution phase, with sale activities and airdrops coming to a close. With over 300,000 EOS accounts already holding EMT, the Emanate team aim to have 10,000 Emanate Alpha platform accounts open this year.

Listings, token swaps and liquidity

Emanate will be listed on several exchanges by June with many EOS based DEXs including NewDex, WhaleEx and Chaince launching in the first week of May. HotBit, YOLO and Bancor Protocol are also signed off to provide pairings with ETH and BTC plus dozens of other tokens via Bancor’s Unified cross-chain wallet.

Emanate stands clearly for a few key things; a clear path to decentralisation of the music industry, a focus on creativity and passion for music and an overall drive to improve adoption of blockchain platforms within mass audiences.

In the music space where a number of projects are having a go, Hacked.com named Emanate as the Blockchain Music project most likely to succeed.

The Emanate team have just returned from LA, Chicago and San Francisco for the close of their Z11K Incubator and the EOS World Expo. Keep following for some huge news that will come from these trips as soon as the deals are formalized.
