Come on guys, stop believing in silly fairy tales about rocket ships flying around in space and going to the moon.

Use your intelligence (and your telescopes like you mention) to prove to yourself whether this is possible or not. It's a much better feeling than simply believing in something that holds no proofs of evidence, and only shows you clearly edited/CGI images to make you believe something is the way they say it is.
