Not surprised that EOS is devolving into yet another corrupt cartel-ridden oligarchy like STEEM before it and LISK, dPOS doesn't promote decentralization, it's pretty much a fact now.
Sounds like you are talking about #oldsteem, this is #newsteem.
STEEM is more distributed now than it ever has been before.
In fact, STEEM does appear to be well ahead of other competitors in solving some of these governance issues. We shouldn't get sleepy though.
