RE: Random musings...Globalism...

Very good points.

One could say the globalism ideology spawned the globalisation agenda. ;)

I don't have a problem with globalism per se. For me it's just a matter of connecting the dots, in the moment. The way those dots connect for me, show me that we are in for a rough ride.

But, one question I still have, which no one seems to have asked. What stake does the richest 1% have in this move towards globalism?

I don't think we are headed for a Star Trek type of global government. I think it will be a bit more gloomy, at least for those of us on the lower end of the economic ladder.

Sort:

Oh, a world government would do everything just like today’s new leaders – only on a global scale. So not a good thing.

I’ve always favoured the idea of management and decision-making being carried out on a small scale and in a decentralised manner: everyone looks after their own business – whilst being able and willing to take into account the consequences for others and the wider implications. To achieve this, there must be bodies responsible for weighing up and balancing interests. Rotating positions, leaving no scope for corruption, self-interest or ego trips…

Hannah Arendt was quite clear-sighted on this matter when it came to the council republic…
