SOME PITFALLS OF MULTIPLICATION
The reason why some people don't experience fruitfulness and multiplication is because they have not been matured in handling greatness.
Psalm 62:10. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
The scriptures above warned not to put our heart on riches when it comes. Some people irrespective of religious belief or position, they are arrogant and high minded, once riches come. Riches, power, anointing, fame make many people to backslide even some are destroyed by the riches they acquired. Many riches have good source but the owner, if care is not taken, may not be able to manage the wealth. Some people will be arrogant and heady. They grow wings against their seniors. Some forget their source which is God.
The riches of Uzziah was so much that is heart was lifted to his destruction.

Care must be taken when there is multiplication in your life. Can you still keep your cool? Can you still be humble. Will you still pray and go to church? Uzziah was high minded and arrogant. Riches is good but can you still be the good, patient and serious Christian you are before riches come? Think well so you don't stray away when there is abundance.
This illustrates the parable of the rich fool. When he was rich, his destruction started in his mind. He saw the riches as his own labour and efforts and not from God (Psalm 75:6). God referred to him as a fool!
When there is fruitfulness and multiplication in your life, how do you think? Do you plan God into your life or He is no more relevant? Many Christians when they need solution to their problems, can go any length to make promises and vows to God because of the pressing need. Surprisingly, when there is an answer, they are comfortable and at rest, they begin to rationalize the fulfillment of the vows as, not worth doing because of their present wealth influential status. They think of what the society will say about then. They forgot that the society doesn't help them when they have problem nor it comes to their aid. Watch out brethren.
In conclusion, many that God settled with fruitfulness end up a miser. They can't part with their resources with others or to God, limits the level God can take you.
Many don't play their tithes. They feel the tithes are too much to give to God. They believe they are wasting their resources by sowing to God. Some don't believe it is scriptural to give their offerings to God again. Even to assist the less privilege is a burden to them.
God is looking for Treasures that He can bless to be a source of blessing to others. In 1 kings 17:8-16 the widow of Zarphat was ready to share what she had and God made her increase abundantly. Throughout the time of famine, she had more than enough because she appreciated the God that made her multiply abundantly.
Proverbs 11:24. There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
God did not just multiply and made you fruitful for your consumptions alone but for others and His kingdom. Never deny God of whatever He gives to you, because the blessings is not yours in the first place. So use it to serve God else it may fly away. Proverbs 23:5
