How are you all that there are esteem Tin or Ara (Ficus carica L.) is a kind of edible fruit-producing plant originating from West Asia. The fruit is named the same. The name "Tin" is taken from the Arabic language, also known as "Ara" (figs / figs) while in English is called fig (common fig; "common fig tree)), is actually a relative of the banyan tree of the genus the same, that is Ficus.

It grows in the region of West Asia, from the Balkan coast to Afghanistan. Now cultivated also in Australia, Chile, Argentina, and the United States.

Habitus is tree, big and can grow up to 10m with soft gray stem. The leaves are quite large and notched in, 3 or 5 lobes.

The flower is not visible because it is shielded by the base of the flower that closes so it is mistaken for the fruit. Pollination is done by a special kind of wasp, just like an insect pollinating other Ficus species.

The so-called fruit is actually the base of the flower that forms a sphere. This type is typical for all tribal members of the tribe (Moraceae). The fruit is three to five centimeters long, green in color. Some cultivars change color to purple if cooked. The sap released by this tree may irritate the skin.
