The aceh war continued until the end of the second world war, in 1945 the aceh war continued, the PKI rebellion followed, the Cumbok war, the Darul Islam / Islamic Armed Forces of Indonesia until the birth of the Free Aceh Movement (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka, GAM).
This series of conflicts seems to be a 'monster' for the people of Aceh. Similarly, the central government often thinks Aceh is a bad boy, who ought to be supervised every day, every time, even every gesture of the people of Aceh
