Vorticism - eSteem Crypto Art & Design Challenge [Round 10]
Hello everyone! Today, like every week, I'm sharing my entry to the Crypto Art & Design Challenge hosted by @sndbox and @creativecrypto, this time in its round 10 the theme is eSteem.
The Inspiration:
Vorticism was a modernist movement that appeared in the early 20's as a mix between Expressionism and Cubism and it motivated people to see the world as dynamic entity , a constantly swirling vortex. It was charaterized by the use of geomtric shapes and bold colors. The center of this movement was BLAST Magazine, the art of the pages were composed of typography and the style even looked like they wer made in a computer. The art made of optical and symetrical composition almost looked like modern day vectors that are created using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Process:
I used Adobe Illustrator to create the image with vectors. I started by creating the background shapes.
Then I added the solid background by picking the color of the original.
I added the logo and layered them on top of each other.
I added the font with spell spelling eSteem and scattered around like in the original image and I added the number 10 to represent the round 10 of this challenge. To finish I exported the image as a JPEG file.
