The effects of false promises!
Now why would this little one be dancing?
They were all excited when we arrived at the their little farm school, armed to the teeth with new computers for their computer class room.
It was a long wait for them with many false promises of help, but today it was a different story.
The Papillon Foundation @papilloncharity kept their promises.
Let's have a look!
At first they were unsure, but look at this!
This was all that they had, old Windows XP computers and for years people have promised to help them with new ones.
Here we had the IT team of Universe Direct installing!
The manager performed the Windows 10 set ups!
And look at these little happy faces!
Real life is to bring joy to little hearts!
Finally, here I am at the left with the school principal!
Whenever we encounter the uncertainty if it's really going to happen at last, I always feel a certain resentment within myself. The school has had many visitors and some of these "self important" visitors promised to help them with computers, but it never happened.
The principal's wife told me a story here that will break your heart. Her husband wanted to tell others about the Papillon donation a few days ago, but she warned him not to, as once again, the computers might not materialize and people would laugh at them.
She said that they had a group pray about our promise, that it would indeed be true and now here, the computers have finally arrived.
We don't realize as humans the effects of the false promises that we make to others. Many of these little souls were damaged by false promises.
Let your words be your gold. If I make a promise, come hell or high water it will happen. I've proven this many times and seen the relief and the tears of happiness that it creates.
A great thank you to all of the steemians that stepped up to the plate to help us.

Great job!
I know what you mean. I have a promise to keep but I am waiting for months now on people I depend on in that case. I hope it happens soon(er or later — it's late anyway).
Thank you and always so debilitating to be forced to wait for others.
We are also often in the same situation.
Blessings and hope it comes through for you my friend.
Great to see those kids enjoying their new computers. Have you looked at using Linux instead of Windows? It is free, but you obviously need someone with the technical ability to set it up. If they are using mostly web stuff it will do all Windows can do with less chance of viruses. You could talk to the Ubuntu Linux company as their founder Mark Shuttleworth is from South Africa and may be able to help you out.
Thank you Sir Steve, the problem is that the lessons are designed in Microsoft and accredited by our government. So we have to stick to their requirements, as the certificates of competency are also accepted by them. I will have a look if Linux has any child educational programs that are accredited by our government.
Blessings!
This is excellent.
I am very happy that you managed to make this happen. Good work!
Thank you Sir and we only do what we can.
Your kind support as always are much appreciated.

This big donation can make kids very happy, and always keep your words when you say something. :)
Thank you and so true.
The kids will certainly benefit from the IT education.
Blessings!
The importance of keeping your word. It's easy to promise something, not as easy to follow through. Do not swear, but let your "yes" be "yes" and "no" be "no".

Thank you my friend and absolutely true.
I am very hesitant to make promises to anybody and my stock answer is always that we will see what we can do.
If it's in the Lord's will it will happen, if not, then we have made no promises.
He gave us all talents to be used to His Glory.
Blessings!
This is phenomenal, what joy in those young faces, I congratulate you on this wonderful achievement.
Thank you Lady Joan and I think that I am addicted to children's joy.
It makes one always to feel so good no matter one's own circumstances.
The joy of children is indeed great medicine.
Blessings!
