Who is the most fearless cricketer?
The most fearless cricket player to ever to set foot on a cricket ground has got to be Cameron Bancroft IMO.
Bancroft is the 25 year historical Australian cricketer who got banned from international cricket seeing that on the 3rd day of the 3rd session vs South Africa in 2018, he used a piece of sandpaper to alter the situation of the ball after which he tried to cover it by hiding it down his trousers, when to his shock, he realised that the incident had been caught on cameras.
Now, in the event if someone asked me this question on the 2nd day of that test match between Australia and South Africa, i'd have gone with names like:
Shahid Afridi
If I had to pick just one, it'd definitely be Shahid Afridi.
His batting, bowling and the way he carried himself on and off the field is the definition of fearless.
He scored the fastest century before it was cool.
Virender Sehwag
Who somehow appeared to end up much less frightened every time he approached landmark moments.
Probably the most destructive test batsman.
AB de Villiers
AB de Villiers had shown us time and again what perfection means.
The kind of shots he plays when facing 90mph shows how fearless of a cricketer he is ( I'm still hoping for a comeback)
But after the 3rd day of that fateful test match in Cape city, my answer has fairly transformed. And my causes are as follows:
** Broadcasters of a normal test match at the present time use around**
30 normal cameras, 10 slo-mo cameras, 1 spider-camera, A center monitoring room with between eighty - one hundred personnel who monitor and handle switching between cameras;
Oh and that i just about forgot about the:
2 umpires on the field monitoring play very intently, 3rd umpire or the TV-umpire as we like to call him carefully monitoring television replays, about half a dozen studio commentators from variously channels scrutinising television replays and probably another half-a-dozen cricket gurus doing the identical, coaching employees from both teams intently monitoring proceedings, 25,000 + spectators within the stadium. And finally, hundreds of thousands of viewers all over the world looking at the match on television.
Now despite all of those perceived barriers, Cameron Bancroft still backed himself to try and alter the situation of the ball with a piece of sandpaper with out someone noticing.
If you happen to question me now, Afridi, Sehwag and AB de Villiers can only dream of having the equal amount of bravery as Cameron Bancroft!
PS : My answer is clearly just a little tongue in cheek however I do hope that Cameron manages to get his cricket profession back on track once his 9 month ban comes to an end. It was a dumb mistake but not one that should ruin his career.
We humans are bound by mistakes, and some mistakes in life are inevitable and same was the case with Cameron Bancroft, i totally agree with you, 'It was a dumb mistake but not one that should ruin his career.'
👍
Sir @rjunaid12 I’m already using esteem app but I didn’t get any single reward from esteem yet ... eventhough I uploaded my last couple of posts through esteem app ... can you please tell me why ??? 🤔🤔🤔
The post should be a minimum 100 words.
I've checked your designs, they are great
But you need to add a few words to get curated by esteem
