PHOTO BOARDS:
It's been a while since I posted and the main reason is, that I have been busy with my art. Our local Art Gallery in Redcliffe, (Queensland) moved to a prime position on the waterfront of the Peninsula and these new premises a lot bigger than their former one, so I took this opportunity to provide a wider range of my artwork which has paid off.
One of the products which has been popular, particular for the pre-Christmas season are my photo boards. I have chosen a few of my favourite photos to enlarge and after laminating them have attached then to distressed timber.
Here are a few of my boards.
KOALAS:
Many of you will have heard of the devastating bush fires that have been (and still are) raging in vast areas of Australia. One of the saddest casualties of the fires is the death of so many of our most precious icons - the koalas. Thankfully, many caring souls are nursing the injured animals back to health, and hopefully, there will be much more done on a greater level to boost their population and preserve those that remain.

Thank you Jo for your kind thoughts. Its affecting so many states of Australia and it's very sad to hear that some of these fires have been deliberately lit by 13 and 14 year old kids.

I have heard about the devastating fires ravaging Australia. I very much hope this tragic event slows down quickly.
Thank you for your kind words @futuremind it's very hard watching the news at times. Even as I write this, I look out from my window to Moreton Island watching thick clouds of smoke drift across the bay, It breaks my heart as the fires are burning in areas where animals and bird life have been living.
