How_I_Made_$570K_from_$80K_on_TRUMP_and_Achieved_Financial_Freedom_After_Waking_Up_3_Hours_Late
The Beginning
1/ Recently, $TRUMP generated substantial gains for major investors, reaching millions or even tens of millions. As a small retail trader, I also secured a solid profit. Here's a brief recap of my journey.
On the morning of the token launch, I was traveling with a time difference and woke up after 1 PM Beijing time.
2/ Upon opening WeChat, I found all group chats overflowing with 999+ unread messages. After a quick scan, I readied funds to purchase $TRUMP. Due to slow SOL chain withdrawals on Binance, I ended up buying in fully around $14.
3/ That afternoon, while on the move, I deposited my entire 5431.15 $TRUMP into Binance for wallet security and convenience.
Late at night, I spotted news from "Formula" about Melania Trump launching a new token. I immediately accessed Binance and began selling $TRUMP at $66, gradually lowering to about $62 until all holdings were cleared.
4/ My reasoning was that the new token would drain liquidity from the original, likely triggering a significant pullback. Subsequent events confirmed this strategy was sound.
Meanwhile, I used part of the U from the sale to buy 400 $SOL, withdrawing twice from Binance in 200 SOL increments to prepare for purchasing $MELANIA.
Unfortunately, the first withdrawal processed quickly, but the second was delayed for nearly an hour, causing considerable frustration.
5/ After the withdrawals arrived, I bought nearly 400 SOL worth of $MELANIA at an average price of around $5.
I then took a nap and awoke to find the price had surged to $13.
Typically, secondary tokens ("Dragon 2") don't exceed 30% of the main token's ("Dragon 1") value. At $13-$14, it was already over 25% of Dragon 1's price at the time, so I sold all around $10-$11 for about 840 SOL and deposited it back to Binance.
6/ Holding this SOL and the earlier U, I repurchased $TRUMP at $41 and $44, accumulating a total of 10,405.7 tokens—nearly doubling my original amount. This gain stemmed from swing trading and profits from the secondary token early on.
7/ I then liquidated my $TRUMP at $49.61 just before the speech. I missed the $63 spike when Robinhood announced its listing, but still felt content with the outcome.
8/ Finally, I captured one more swing from approximately $35.9 to $39.99. Before boarding my flight home, I sold all $TRUMP and cashed out $573,703 U.
9/ My profits pale in comparison to big players, but considering my late entry at $14 due to travel and time differences, I believe I maximized the opportunity. Reflecting on it, there's minimal room for improvement.
