I think, I am starting to get what this project is about. It really sounds like interesting stuff. My biggest worry now (having limited knowledge about the details) is that a big player like Google could copy their approach if it looks to become successful.
Established firms won't change their systems to blockchain as that'd put their revenue stream at risk. Their shareholders would never approve. More likely situation would be them acquiring a successful blockchain development.
