Consolidating and Editing

in #ethereum7 years ago

While bull runs are great, these periods of pause and sideways movements are a perfect time to reflect on your portfolio. I had over diversified my portfolio in an effort to be safe and not feeling as if I am speculating / gambling.

I had over 25 coins and unconsciously it was diverting my attention and my energy felt dissipated and dispersed by monitoring all the various movements.

I am deciding on rebalancing my portfolio and researching into more coins and digging deeper into the coins I already own.

Things I am considering

Bitcoin versus Altcoins - aren't we all!

Ethereum and Litecoin - yes they are technically Altcoins but they are Tier 2 right?
How much of those 2 do I invest in.

The Ethereum Killer investment

I am bullish on Ethereum but the 'flippening' might not only pertain to market dominance of Bitcoin versus Ethereum but those that dethrone Ethereum and take position in 2018 to flip in 2019.

So I am researching the following

EOS
Quantum
Cardano
Icon
Neo

and not in that particular order.

I am also now doing a proper sector look at coin market cap so that I am not too invested in one sector.

I am trying to broaden the spread.

Transactional cryptocurrency - Bitcoin, Litecoin, Vertcoin

Platforms and Protocol - Ethereum, Neo, Eos

A.I. - CND, Deep Brain Chain, Singularity Net

Exchange coins - 0x, Komodo, Kucoin, Qash

Gaming related - Engine, Vox

Social Tipping - Storm, Bat, Steem

Supply Chain - VEN, TRAC, WABI

There are more but I think it is important to also categorise sectors in coinmarketcap rather than listing them internally as top 100, 200-300, etc.

Enjoy your weekend and I hope that the meetings on Tuesday in the States go well!
