The answer is: It depends.

if you have a RX card no, but if you have one of the new 10xx nvidia series YES!

For example a rx 480/470 your zcash hashrate (that is calculated in Sol/s) will be around 220 Sol/s

But if you have a gtx 1070 your hashrate will be around 450-480 Sol/s and this will give you a bigger profit.
