Ethereum(Eth) vs Ethereum Classic(Etc)?
If you go onto CoinMarketCap, you will notice a digital currency called Ethereum Classic sitting a few spots below Ethereum. These tokens have a lot in common: strong development teams, long-term potential, and great technology. But, why exactly are there two Ethereums and which is better?
The beginning
In some websites, you may have noticed that Ethereum classic is sitting below the Ethereum. But the fact is Ethereum (ETH) is the fork of Ethereum Classic. Yes, the fact is everything started from Ethereum Classic. For most investors, Ethereum seems to be the top coin but if you check the graph Ethereum classic surged approximate 704 % in a year.
Basically there was a hacker who got access to 50M in funds from the DAO. The community came together and decided its best to undo the hack in the form of a hard fork("a hard fork is a radical change to the protocol that makes previously invalid blocks/transactions valid or viceversa")
A few members were against this, as it stood against the whole concept of fixed blockchain that can never be changed.
Most members moved to the Ethereum chain, while the remaining members stayed back on the old chain, which is known as Ethereum Classic.
Differences
Ethereum and Ethereum classic are almost identical in every aspect, but there are some differences, the differences are too small and complex for me to explain, but here is a video the gets to explain eth and etc perfectly.
Should you invest in Ethereum or Ethereum classic?
My suggestion would be in favor of Ethereum to be taken for investing purpose as it is most potential token after Bitcoin which has appreciation and investment of billionaires. It is a better token for medium to long term and is also very good as there is lot of expansion space in its market. It is worth more than etc in my opinion.

Agree with you, ETH is better than ETC due to community adoption, level of development that is ongoing and in true value. Most ICOs are on ETH (and some on BTC), not so much on ETC or any other coin for that matter. ETH is also better in tech than BTC. Long term, I think ETH has a better proposition than BTC, though BTC has first mover advantage and will continue to benefit from that in the short to medium term
