Been a month in HTMLCoin telegram, I met Simon Telfer (HTMLCoin Vice-President Business Development and Innovation). The most humble software engineer veteran I’ve ever met in my life (> 30 years in Industry). As a rookie I ask so many questions to him, such as why does HTMLCOIN decide to be a hybrid coin? The answer is simple: to make service wider than before, amazingly he is willing to answer it patiently and briefly to me.

If we can run existing decentralized application code which written previously in Ethereum to be run in HTMLCOIN platform, why don’t we do it? This is an opportunity for all of us, plus HTMLCOIN has a Qtum hybrid blockchain application platform technology, extending the capability for the existing smart contract code (mostly written in Ethereum platform), so that it can be run in the environments that were not possible before such as smartphone where HTMLCOIN platform exits in the ecosystem.

HTMLCOIN is suitable when a company or anyone needs a system that can be trusted, which can automate their business cases related to any transactions, which need to be executed as soon as the condition has met regarding to the agreement between two people or more, for example solving supply chain problems using the benefit of data immutability:
