Auctus: Pre-Sale Rules and Whitelist

Hello!First of all, we want to thank the community for all the support and helpful feedback. Currently, there are more than 1,400 subscribers on Slack and 2,100 followers on Twitter and rest assured, we are reading all of your submitted suggestions and feedback. With that in mind, we would like to announce the final rules for our upcoming pre-sale, as well as a few changes made to our token sale model which we believe will benefit the entire community.This post contains critical information about the Auctus token pre-sale structure, whitelist, and individual cap. We believe that the following measures will maximize distribution, benefit early supporters and are in the best interest of the Auctus community.
Individual Cap
Our aim is to conduct a fair token sale for our community. In order to democratize participation, we are introducing an individual cap. We have determined that individual contributions for the pre-sale will be capped at 10 ETH. We decided to introduce this cap, in order to guarantee participation of every contributor and thus ultimately strengthen our community by leaving no one behind.
Whitelist Only
We have launched a whitelist for interested pre-sale participants. The registration for the whitelist started on September 10th, 2017 at https://auctus.org and we will accept registrations until September 30th, 2017. Pre-sale participation will be uniquely for whitelisted participants and as mentioned, contributions will be capped at 10 ETH per participant.How does the whitelist work?
- You will be prompted to provide the Ethereum address from which you will send your contribution to the pre-sale. DO NOT send ETH from an exchange wallet, you need to control the private key for the provided address.
- Once you receive an email confirmation that you are on the whitelist, you will have guaranteed participation in the pre-sale.
- The AUC pre-sale smart contract will only allow whitelisted ETH addresses, capped at 10 ETH per participant.
- The smart contract address will be announced only at https://auctus.org.Please make sure to bookmark this link address to avoid any kind of phishing attacks.
- We will NOT send any contribution address by email, in a direct message on Slack or elsewhere.
Pre-sale summary
The pre-sale model will be as follows:
- Whitelisted participants only
- Guaranteed participation for registered addresses
- Token Price: 2500 AUC / ETH (equivalent to a 25% bonus)
- ETH accepted only
- Individual cap: 10 ETH
- Starts: October 3rd, 2017 at 2pm GMT
- Sale will last for 72 hours only
- Minimum pre-sale cap: 400 ETH
- Up to 1000 ETH raised during pre-sale phase will be used for the initial business set up, PR, marketing services, explainer video and prototyping.
- Funds exceeding 1000 ETH will be locked by smart contract and attributed to the ICO fundraising.
