Science bow to Mircosoft Office

20% of data involing genes contains error caused by Microsoft Excels' automatic date detection and conversion. Genes likes "MARCH1" are converted to 1st of March. This issue is know for a decade now. The question if someone is interested in this at Microsoft remains or the pragmatism remains to be admire.
