While it may not be a scam in your opinion, it could be considered spam. Spam is not appreciated by the community and could be flagged or may result in action from the cheetah bot..

Some things that can be considered spam:

  • Banner ads of any kind
  • Referral links/codes
  • Repeating the same post
  • Links to known scams, phishing sites, and other dangerous links

Hi Eric, typical best practice is to indicate that a link you are providing is a referral link clearly. I don't ever see people getting flagged for referral links when they plainly state that they gain X benefit if you sign up through the link - and honestly you might get some people that sign up just to get you that benefit because you spell it out clearly. I have personally signed up for websites through referral links just to get a benefit to a post author that told me about the referral link; and I never click through on a referral link that is not identified as such, instead stripping off the numbers and visiting the root URL.

Cheers and good luck here! - Carl

I find it really complex to use.

It seems pretty much as easy as poloniex and they list a couple of coins I use that are not available in other platforms right now.
