Last time we crossed the border of Chile we had to answer many questions to those police officers with a hugeeee question mark in their faces 🤔
Why does a gringo travel around the world with a machete on the backpack? which material is it made from? where does the knife come from? where does the gringo come from? what purpose does it have? etc... at the end they let us go with our a problem, Chile has a very strict policy about organic and animal products coming in so, in theory, the knife was all right... I believe it was more curiosity + it was 1 AM and not much going on at the airport hahaha
