Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the third week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing visit to a Service Zone. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

➤What kind of service zone did you reviewed? Where is it located? Share a brief description of the service zone.

I have reviewed the Health Care Vaccination Center as a service zone. Children's vaccines and some other healthcare services are provided here. This healthcare service primarily serves children of various ages and provides them with regular government and non-government vaccines. It has been established as a part of a well-reputed hospital in Chattogram.

This vaccination center is located right in the corner of the ground floor of the old building of Agrabad Maa O Shishu Hospital. Considering the vaccination of newborns and children alongside regular hospital services, the hospital authorities provide care through this vaccination center. It remains open every day of the week, and vaccination services are provided from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

➤What are the facilities like there? For example, customer service,item list, prices etc.

This vaccination center is solely for vaccinating children; additionally, newborn health check-ups and a few other medical services are provided here, otherwise, there is no medical service for adults. And from what I could gather, it functions much like an Upazila Health Complex.

Government contraceptive services for women are also provided here. Specially, one health complex is maintained in every police station (Thana) area to provide medical services and vaccinations for women and children. However, in city corporation areas, hospitals provide this kind of health complex service.

I found the environment of the vaccination center very beautiful and good. Actually, the services of the hospital under which this vaccination center is established are very good, and it provides several government benefits alongside being a private hospital. The floor was perfectly clean and there was no dirt, maintaining good hygiene.

Fans and adequate cooling systems have been installed on the ceiling. When I visited, the weather outside was extremely hot, but due to the good cooling system and ceiling ACs inside the vaccination center, the environment was quite comfortable. There was also a seating arrangement for parents accompanying their children.

Cards are provided here for the children's vaccination. Every newborn child has a vaccination card where details of which vaccines have been given and the timing (at how many months of age) for the next vaccines are recorded. Currently, parents are being made highly aware so that they vaccinate their children on time.

To provide vaccines, the government has established vaccination centers even in remote rural areas. However, people in the city usually get vaccinated at hospitals. And getting vaccinated here is completely free. I visited this place to get my nephew vaccinated, and coming here for vaccination felt the most worthy to me.

There is a drinking water facility here for parents or guests bringing their children. The water tap, which looks like a stainless steel basin, appeared quite nice to me. It is located on the right side in front of the entrance to the vaccination center. I tasted the water, and the taste was excellent, and perfectly clean water was available.

Since the vaccination center is a part of the children's hospital, the medical authorities have kept all the facilities and security of their medical buildings in this vaccination center as well. For security, fire extinguishing arrangements have been kept here, which seemed right to me. An emergency alarm system for fire has also been placed on the ceiling.

The environment of this vaccination center is quite good. Thinking about the children and parents, all modern facilities have been kept here. Children's vaccines are provided here free of cost, though there are some vaccines that are not provided by the government, for which the patient has to pay, and women's family planning-related services are also provided.

Since this is a newborn ward, there is a separate breast-feeding compartment so that children can be fed according to their needs. The feeding compartment also has sufficient space, which was evident from the outside, and everything required for the mother and child has been provided inside; so all in all, the environment of this vaccination center is quite good.

➤What kind of service did you receive there? Do you think any steps should be taken to improve customer service in this emergency service zone?

I came here to find out the vaccination date for a child in my family. Everything seemed fine to me, especially the friendly behavior of the nurses on duty, because they were beautifully explaining vaccination matters to the parents who came there for services.

One service needs to be improved here, which is highly important, and that is vaccine availability. I have seen many people here return without getting vaccinated. If patients were scheduled based on the quantity of vaccines, everyone would get vaccines on time; however, no schedule is maintained here, resulting in vaccine shortage issues.
