This is outrageous and is part of the reason why FB is passe (fancy French word for yesterday's media)
Just compare old media with new:
Old: FB, Twitter, youtube
New: Steemit, Gab.ai, ONG.Social
Old: censorship, ads, centralized control over YOUR content
New: No censorship, No ads (unless you want them), decentralized protection of your content.

This is the future of social media
Every passing week I know about something new that disgusts me more about old social media sites. I believe we are watching a huge change in paradigm between the conventional social media sites and what is coming. It is very obvious how decentralization and blockchain technology will be major protagonists in the social media of tomorrow. Definitely Steemit and onG.Social will be huge in the coming years
