“SO AI BECAME A PERMANENT MOUND OF RUINS, desolate to this Very day.” Joshua 8:28 (NLT)

• The challenges of life are real. The world is not a bed of roses. It is not a state of great comfort or an easy or comfortable place. The devil and his activities are real!

  • The Scripture says the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent takes it by force (Matthew 11:12).
  • There is a measure of force, exercising the authority given to you in Christ Jesus; to get things done as a believer in the world.
  • Nothing happens by chance! Things that would happen could be made happened by exercising the authority you have in Christ.
  • Whatever you are told by God that would happen, which the devil would surely not want; you would have to take authority over the opposition in Jesus' name to get it done.
  • God will fight for you and you will hold your peace, the Bible says (Exodus 14:14). The devil who is the archenemy of the believers (Revelation 12:9-11), who is a defeated foe, would have his activities foiled and that of all his human agents; as you walk by God's principles that are found in the Bible, in Jesus' mighty name.

• At times, things you are told that would be done or happened might not be done with ease, until a measure of force or authority is exercised (Luke 1:16).

  • There is no cheap success in the world. Your own part would have to be done before things work as God said It would be. When a promise is made by God, there is a manward side and Godward side. Thus, you had to do your own part for you to experience what God has said or promised. God would not do everything for you!
  • You should know that you would be challenged by the opposers; the devil and his human loyalists. They would want to know whether you actually know your right!
  • It should not be strange that the inheritance apportioned you is being occupied by illegal occupiers that had to be dislodged (Deuteronomy 3:22).

• Believers are to be gentle as doves, wise as serpents, and be strong as lions (Matthew 10:16).

  • You must not be chickenhearted but lionhearted, brave and courageous (Joshua 1:6,7,9). You would need to stand your ground and recede not, that you may not be a casualty or a prey. Stand to defend your cause that you may possess your land of inheritance!
  • When standing your ground is being talked about, it is not about fighting powers perse. The devil is a defeated foe (Colossians 2:14,15); the new testament believer kind of soldier is not like that of the old testament, and the battle to be fought is to drive home the victory gotten by Christ Jesus, which was delivered to us. It is a fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12).
  • If you are into spiritual warfare, in which you engage the devil in a battle everytime; God will stand with you in the battles as you live right. However, the devil and the opposing forces might make life miserable for you.
  • The primary goal of a believer is not about engaging the devil in a spiritual battle; rather, a believer should primarily be a doer or practicer of the Word of God, the Bible (James 1:22,25).
  • If you practice or live in line with the Word of God, you would be having a good and great opportunity to dislodge the devil If he surfaces to challenge you on whatever you are doing.
  • Things are made happen when you are filled with the knowledge of the Word of God, the Bible, and you abided in it, that is, you lived by Its principles; coupled with a life of consistent or unceasing prayers in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever the operation of the devil in your life is, such is put to an end in Jesus' mighty name.
  • If there is any ailment in your body as you read this piece, I declare your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • And, you will not be a casualty in the operations of the enemy, the devil, in Jesus' name.
    Peace.

STEPS TO SALVATION

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
