Totally Geaking Out Right Now - Falcon Heavy

in #falconheavy8 years ago (edited)

Who knew when I moved to Florida just 2 months ago I would be able to witness one of the biggest launches ever! The Falcon Heavy launch is currently scheduled for 3:45 EST

The Falcon Heavy is a major stepping stone if the launch is fully successful. Not only is it going to put a car in orbit around mars and the sun! it will also be the largest rocket allowing for massive payloads to be delivered to the space station and possibly in the future to Mars. It is expected for the Payload to take 6 months to get there and travel over 200+ million miles!

You can view the full details about the rocket here - http://www.spacex.com/falcon-heavy

Live footage will be here - http://www.spacex.com/webcast and should be shown about 20 minutes before launch.

**UPDATE fuel is currently being loaded onto the Falcon Heavy rocket!

I will do my best to get a picture of the launch but I am about 60 miles from it however it should still be visible from what I am told. Will update after launch if it happens today!

**UPDATE Picture from my point of view for shuttle launch I swear everything looks smaller when you take a picture lol
