Spruce Tip Pickles!

This summer, I had a hard time getting motivated to go gather food outside of Unalakleet; I was focused on my garden.

On June 10, 2019, my husband gathered, cleaned, and pickled 4 jars of spruce tree tips... my favorite pickles!

And now it is January, almost 7 months later. I'm enjoying a jar of his sweet love.
