For a young man/woman who is thinking about starting a family of his/her own, what advice would you give to check a person?

Starting a family has to do with settling down, getting married to the one for you. Several things should be considered before jumping in fully to it. Some of the things to consider are:

• Be matured enough: I think this is one most important factor when it comes to starting a family. Maturity has nothing to do with the age of either parties but how mature each mind is to accommodate a partner. Relationship is filled with so much ups and downs, it takes only a matured mind to deal. There will be times when Love isn't just enough, but what comes through is how matured you both are.
• Relationship is not all roses: There will be ups, there will be downs, there will be chaos, there will be cheers but it will never be a complete bed of roses. There will be arguments and disagreements. Be ready to face all this squarely. Don't just think that because you love him/her, then the relationship will be all smooth.
• Sometimes, let your partner take priority: We are humans and we will always want different things. We may not always agree on certain things. Let your partner win sometimes, it doesn't mean you are a loser. Let them be your top priority. Make them feel important and special. Pet them, care for them, cater for them, show them that you care and always remember to tell them how much you love and need them.

There are many more things I can say to a person who is getting married. But the question is, would they be willing to keep it? Will they listen or do whatever they feel? The ball is in their court.
